Whole again: Reconnecting brain and body after complex trauma

Dr. Ruth Lanius, MD, PhD

We are thrilled to have Dr. Ruth Lanius present this upcoming workshop, scheduled for August 28th, in St. John’s, NL.  This workshop delves into the treatment of complex trauma, focusing on the disconnect between the brain and body, and exploring groundbreaking methods to mend this division.

Therapists will learn to artfully blend various bottom-up and top-down therapeutic approaches, like CBT, EMDR, DBT, DBR, IFS, SMART, and sensorimotor psychotherapy, to facilitate healing and integration. Practical insights and real-life case examples will guide participants throughout the workshop
